Alex Rodriguez Just Sold His Miami Home for $6.3 Million

He bought the pad for $5.5 million in April of this year.

A-Rod may be known for his baseball career, but he has quite the impressive real estate portfolio—including many properties he shared with his ex, JLo. But that stable just got smaller: Rodriguez sold a Miami home for $6.3 million, after purchasing it for $5.5 million this past April.

According to the New York Post, A-Rod closed on the home on April 9th, 2021, before putting it back on the market on April 26th, just a week and a half after he and JLo announced their break up.

Located in Bay Point, this investment property boasts three bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms, across 3,100 square feet. The home's $6.3 million sale is the highest recorded canal-front sale in Bay Point, reports the New York Post.

Julianna Castro of Compass, who represented the buyers in the sale, recently told the New York Post, "Inventory in Bay Point is scarce, and my clients were specifically looking for something on the water." She added that "the views of Sabal Lake and Miami’s skyline sealed the deal. The new owners plan to build the most impeccable waterfront spec home, which will truly be a rare gem in the Bay Point community.”

Some amenities of the one-story abode include marble flooring and scenic waterfront views. A-Rod still owns at least two other Florida properties: a Coral Gables mansion that spans 12,000 square feet, and a $32.5 million estate in Miami Beach, which he shares ownership of with JLo.

A-Rod's sister, Arlene Susy Dunand of Coldwell Banker Realty, held the listing, which you can take a look at here.
